Common Psychological Difficulties           Meditation Minute

Welcome to the website for Dr. Virginia Bell-Pringle's

psychotherapy practice in Atlanta, GA.

If you have found your way to this website, it is likely that you are interested in either making some positive changes in your life, or increasing your potential in some way. People choose to participate in psychotherapy for many different reasons (e.g., feeling stuck in one's life, having difficulty with a relationship, experiencing high levels of stress, dealing with painful events from the past, grieving the loss of a loved one, changing career paths, exploring one's identity, questioning one's spirituality, dealing with developmental stages like adulthood, parenthood, retirement).

The psychotherapeutic relationship can become a safe, reliable place to address concerns in a less restricted or self-conscious way, because your therapist is not involved in your life other than as your therapist. This gives individuals room to discuss and explore what is important to them more completely and empowers them to make the necessary choices and adjustments in their lives.

In addition to being a safe place to discuss difficult and/or meaningful topics, a clinically trained psychologist also has knowledge about how you can address various difficulties in a way that maximizes your chances of success.

Congratulations on making the first step to changing your life for the better!
